ALKO’s modern vehicle fleet guarantees maximum transport standards. The whole fleet of tractors is low emission (Euro 2 and Euro 3) and they have on average less than 4 years of service.

All future vehicle acquisitions are focused on purchasing tractors with Euro 4 & Euro 5 engines.

Our tractor units are of the following brands:

TRAILERS

At ALKO we use two types of trailers, namely tilt and curtainsiders. These have both standard, as well as the nowadays very famous MEGA dimensions - enabling us to offer you transport capabilities from 1 m³ up to 103 m³.

Our complete fleet of trailers is equipped with eco-axles.

All our trailers provide a straight-framed soft top with all round flexibility for loading and unloading from rear, sides and overhead. The tilt cover can be pulled back to facilitate easy loading. All trailers are fitted with cargo winches as standard to provide load securing. Selected trailers are fitted with pockets to allow for insertion of stanchions where appropriate, for products such as steel pipes. Additional securing points are available on the trailers to achieve maximum load security. All tilts have sealing cords to enable trailers to be sealed following loading. The side gates provide additional load security for products such as drums, cartons and boxes.

We are certainly prepared to also provide you with specialized equipment such as: container chassis, low loaders or temperature controlled units - mostly done on demand.

LICENSING & CERTIFICATES

ALKO is a transport certified company. We fulfill our operations accordingly the General Conditions for Carriage in the International Transport and the articles of the CMR Convention.

We are in possession of the following licenses and certificates:

· CMR insurance

· CEMT licenses

· Route/Country licenses (if certain countries are not covered in the CEMT licenses)

· TIR Carnet

· ADR certificates & equipment

· Truck/Trailer certificates

· Truck/Trailer Casco insurance
